Just How Big is America Giant C-17 Globemaster III
The C-17 Globemaster III is a four-wing high-engine heavy transport aircraft. It is equipped with a cargo bay ramp that allows airdrop cargo in flight, and can operate from faceless runways as short as 3500 feet.
The aircraft can perform tactical airlift and airdrop missions and can transport stretchers and outpatients during aeromedical evacuations.
